Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to information about you when you visit gacautomotive.com, the website of GAC Automotive Center (Jezzi Corporation), 2100 Portsmouth Blvd., Portsmouth, VA 23704.

The short version

  • The website doesn’t ask for your personal information. There are no forms, accounts or sign-ups.
  • We don’t use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we don’t sell your personal information.
  • A few outside services help run the site. What they see is explained below.

When you visit

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from attacks, Cloudflare processes the technical information your browser sends with every request, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. Cloudflare may set a cookie that is needed for security. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

The pages also load a few things from other companies, which receive your IP address and browser details when they do:

  • Fonts from Google Fonts, on every page.
  • Icons from BootstrapCDN, a public service that delivers the Font Awesome icon set, on every page.
  • A Google map on the Contact Us page. Google may set its own cookies when the map loads.

Google’s use of this information is covered by Google’s privacy policy.

Payments

The Payment page uses PayPal. When you click the PayPal button you leave our site, and PayPal collects and processes your payment details under the PayPal Privacy Statement. We never see your card or bank details. PayPal sends us what we need to match the payment to your work, such as your name, email address and the amount paid. The Payment page also loads PayPal’s button images from PayPal.

When you contact us

If you call, email or come by the shop, we use what you tell us, such as your name, phone number, vehicle and insurance details, to answer you and to do the work you ask for. We share it only when that work needs it, for example with your insurance company for a claim you ask us to handle, or when the law requires it. Email sent to info@gacautomotive.com passes through Cloudflare’s email forwarding on its way to our inbox.

Links to other sites

Links to Facebook, Instagram and other websites take you to services that have their own privacy policies.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
